Yang Yu, known as "Jiaozi", is a pioneering Chinese animation director. His journey began with "See Through" (2009), a short film that took him three and a half years to complete. His 2nd work Ne Zha: The Demon Child (2019), a decade-long project that became China's highest-grossing animated film. The latest work, Ne Zha 2 (2025), released after five years, has set a new box office records.
